April is National Poetry Month---National Jazz Month, too. Don't think I can manage a poem a day....a couple a week, maybe, and some jazz tunes.

MoonRise
It is written (somewhere),
that after death, our souls call
to the moon,
that cold, pit-less stone,
and lock in rhythym
with her orbit.They wander, lost
among her peaks and powders,
just a staff of angels
raining petals
back to Earth.
