Rothko Noir

I watch and wait beside the window waiting for a fearsome outsider who has no use for intimate conversation. In this city of a thousand secrets who holds the reserves of wealth and power? Where is it written that I could paint away all my bodily infirmities? What manic sprees are yet unfolding?
