Hair Cut Anyone?

Whose idea was it that men get hair cuts anyway? It's one of those activities like cutting the grass. You do it to make it look nice for the neighbors. After all if you let it go it is an invitation to all kinds of trouble. My beloved says that God is a professional and expects all followers to be professionals too. And all these years I thought Jesus came to die for sinners and the lost. What looks more sinful than someone who is scraggly and in need of a haircut?

Sometimes you have to do things to humor the wife. After all she does make a good dinner and provides is there for other rough and ready activities. She sits and watches this other lady cut me hair telling me how cute and pretty I am going to look after all this haircutting is all done. At that point you might as well rip me out of the chair: me cute and pretty?! Now I know how Samson felt as he was awaking from the haircut Delilah gave him. The only part of the mowing I liked was when she talked about her second son with the scraggly beard that drives her crazy. I asked her if she did her kids let her do their hair she say:

You have got to be kidding, I am their mom. They'd rather get some cutie to do it. Need I say more?

Well the hair cut business is over. It is like one of those sacrificial lambs that they talk about in the bible. Even they need to be sheared at some point. Wouldn't it be cool if I could get money for getting my hair cut and maybe even save the world? What do you think?!!!!
