Hang on for the Ride
November 25th, 2013

I was told by and Uncle to Hang on for the ride. He had been through some tough scrapes and learned to let God be with him through the ups and downs that life's journey often offered. I think of this in particular in relations to my new adventure of caregiving. I am learning that God takes me as I am and not as I want others to believe about me. I came into the job with an awful asthmatic cold, a gimpy back and bruised shoulder and God said in so many words: "Peace be Still" .

I have a mask for my cold and I continue to exercise even when my body complains. God is a work in and through me. I am glad I can be a part of God body and learn that others can find ways to accomodate my gifts and limits. To God be the glory!!
