I Checked my 2014 Horoscope

This is probably one of the weirdest things I've did this year. I do read my horoscope in the newspaper (when I have time to read the newspaper), but 99.9% of the time the horoscope wrong. The ones that come close to applying to my day are either amusing or upsetting. Despite that, I decided to check my astrology forecast for the coming year because this has been an interesting morning and it's only 7:08 am here in Las Vegas. I checked today's Capricorn prediction at http://www.horoscope.com/ and, as usual, it didn't give me clue as to how the rest of my day will go; however, it did give me some good advice about focusing on spiritual matters and writing down my thoughts at the end of the day. It also suggest I take a long walk before going to bed which is out of the question this time of year in Las Vegas.

According to the prediction for my personal and social life, 2014 is going to be a busy year. Apparently, I'll have to deal with "home maintenance" in more the just my "physical residence"; however the work is supposed to be pleasant and it will help me avoid laziness. I'm supposed to get my "second wind" in t he middle of July and my "work-to-results ratio" will improve. The horoscope says that I'll see progress in many areas of my life and that I can't be slowed down.1

The prediction for my 2014 "career and money" indicates that (career wise) I will be busy extremely busy, but that I can rely on other people to help. I may have to ask for help in some instances, but I will be able to get what I ask for. This part of my 2014 horoscope indicated that I have to watch my money and be very careful, which is no surprise because that reflects 2013 (and I didn't even check my 2013 horoscope last December).2

Despite the fact that my love life is nonexistent, I check my "love" or perhaps I should say my "relationship" horoscope for the coming year. It seems in 2014 a friend or associate will be working with me. It also suggested that a co-worker might be romantically interested in me, but that I have to decide where the relationship will go. In addition, according to this horoscope, I won't have the answers all the time (I'd be satisfied if I had the the answers only 1% of the time).3

The horoscope indicated that part of my New Year's goal would concern thinking or seeking. It also suggested that communications is one of the skills that I should emphasize in 2014 and that this skill will also be important in 2015; however, I've never encountered a time when communication isn't important.4

Since I've rested from hectic start to my day, I'm going to post this and then finish washing the dishes I should have washed last night. I wish I had a working dishwasher, but considering the fact that I have only one spoon left I'd still have to wash one thing by hand. I suppose that it's easily and cheaper to wash all the dirty dishes at the same time I wash my spoon. If I get out of the house today or tomorrow, I'll have to stop at one of the dollar stores to purchase some more spoons.
