Day 10 - The Castle

Barney had a lot of money
that he didn't care to waste,
paired with a vivid imagination
and very expensive tastes.

Barney lived deep within the forest
in a house that was quite divine,
but he hated everything about it,
from its appearance to its design.

So, he called a local architect
and told him of his plight,
the house wasn't what he wanted
but a castle would be just right.

The architect got to work immediately
and construction soon began,
on a castle too exquisite
to be occupied by just one man.

But it was just what Barney wanted,
he directed every move that was made,
from the overall design of the castle
to every brick that was laid.

Finally, it was finished,
it was not an easy feat,
Barney stood back and stared in wonder
at his masterpiece now complete.

Barney decided to go inside,
he couldn't take it anymore,
but he discovered, to his chagrin,
he had forgotten to add a door.
