Broken Heart Beating for my Daughter

My heart beats in the broken rhythms of a beat that has yet to be finished.
I am on top of the highest mountain when my ceramic heart stopped beating.
So many broken pieces as it was in the abyss tossed. The goal all but lost
Many people come from all around to pick up the pieces for peace is
The promise of a victory yet to be won, still not begun.

Along comes the one who caused the heart to stop beating, they are pleading
What can anyone do to change this wasted opportunity to heal and help?
Then there is a writing abiding deep within the heartbeat of this battered soul.
Inspired persons gather all around wanting to know what love is, where to be found.

Believing is the gift of a community not giving up, giving up.
Letting go fluttering wings quell the madness, a vision of what makes such a one whole
Watch the beating once gain happen, hope again says God is in control.

Wounded wonderer, wandering seeing the brokenness again as one.
Heartbeat raising and once again apacing, play sing and dance
