Sleepy no place like home
I feel like I am sleepwalking through another day. I wonder how people decide where and what it means to be at home. The question never haunted me like it does now. I am faced with the fact that most of my family is in Massachusetts, over a day away. At the same time I realize that my children and grandchildren live in Kansas City. The issue of being an orphan is a powerful metaphor. It puts the role of Jesus as adopted into a sharper focus. Home is where the heart is and if the destination does not factor in the unconditional love of God there is no hope of ever knowing when, where or how one might get there.
