Day 21: I don't get it and neither do you
Creation Saturday!

Tell us about your alter-ego.

The existence of "another self" was first recognized in the 1730s. Anton Mesmer used hypnosis to separate the alter ego. These experiments showed a behavior pattern that was distinct from the personality of the individual when he was in the waking state compared to when he was under hypnosis. Another character had developed in the altered state of consciousness but in the same body.[4]

Alter ego is also used to refer to the different behaviors any person may display in certain situations. Related concepts include avatar, doppelgänger, impersonator, and Dissociative identity disorder (DID).

Makes it clear as mud, doesn’t it.

Altered state of consciousness? The last time I was in a mind altered state, the prescription drug Zoloft was involved and I am telling you no one would want to know me. I was a mean SOB and did a lot of very not nice things that I am thankful I no longer remember. I just remember being in a snit 90% of the time. That’s the real alter ego.

Now if I got to create an altered state of being, it would be like June Clever, no stress, always put together, perfect house, perfect kids, perfect husband, perfection all around. Everyone would want to be me.

But since I don't understand this blog prompt, I should just sit down and shut up and let those of you who know what it is to do the persuasive essay.
