A Melancholy Tuesday Morning
Dawn clouds
obscure the morning sun,
while birds
in the pine tree sing.

The clouds
and the morning passes
into the west.

The sun come out
casting dark shadows
across the dark asphalt
of the one-way street.

A melancholy Tuesday morning
is transformed
into a happy
smiling day
while the birds
continue to sing.
