Divided Allegiance
In about a week I will be faced with interviewing a church in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. If all goes well, it will be a move very reminiscent of the move I made from Massachusetts to Kansas City forty years ago. I left my siblings, parents and grandparents to answer God's call. In doing this I was able to start a family. I have three children and found all manner of family in the various churches I served. My parents and grandparents have died, the latest my mom in October. My kids have all grown up and it seems very natural to want to move on and see what other adventures lie ahead.

I wish it was that easy. I remarried and it has been difficult to get my new spouse to connect with my family as well as I would like. I guess that was to be expected. I need to let go and let God. Who knows what the future will hold As before I trust God will take me by the hand and show me where to go.
