WHAT'S LINGERING?
Blog City image small

Prompt: Which emotions fade away the most easily for you and which ones have a way of lingering?

>>>Anger and upset fade away almost as fast as they happen. I can recognize my physical reactions like blood pressure---face flush, feel hot, tightness in throat and voice. Just let it go. Once you can see/feel it, it’s gone. Then what caused the emotion can be examinaned and worked on, forgiven, dealt with, whatever.
I like the happiness and contentment to linger a long time. Doesn’t everyone?

Alternate Prompt: When you are writing, do you ever find yourself influenced by what you’re reading at the time?

>>>No, because i read so many different styles and content. I write speculative fiction, fantasy, science-fiction. I live in a fantasy world. Anything is possible. (I said that yesterday)
Plus I’m reviewing novels for WYRM. We look at writing with such a detailed eye that it’s beyond influence. I just love good writing.

Write on...>>>iggy
