Yellowstone Day 20
Concerning Cinn & Charlie we should be cautious. Better to be wise even when you look silly. I would talk to a ranger. Do you know which way they went? We could at least search around the camp but be with a buddy. Do they answer to whistles?*Rolleyes*

The Alum Fire has progressed to 6150 acres. So far Visitors are just on alert and rangers have formed an evacuation plan but no one has to move or leave yet. If the phones work here there is a 24 hour hot-line for information: 307-344-2117. The other two fires in Yellowstone are much smaller and not progressing as fast. Firefighters from Canada have arrived to help. (News from the 18th)

I never saw a wildfire, forest fire, etc. except on t.v. but I accidentally started a yard fire one day. It was fall, the grass was dry, I was surprised how fast it spread and how high it jumped. I put it out with a water hose. After watching News broadcasts about fires in California I think I would rather not have to fight one.
