My first entry

I have never had a blog before so this is a new venture for me. However I am a profesiional writer and it seems that my opinion is somewhat valued. So I thought I'd set up Chris' Ramblings and see how things go. I'll try to enter something every day. Those who follow my writing on here know that I do a lot of reviews. I do that as a courtesy and to make the recipient feel good. I know that if anything were to give me a thrill as a writer, it would be to have my work critiqued by a professional writer. Therefore as a professional writer, i try to do unto others as I would have people do unto me. I know that was something taught by Jesus but I believe it is simply a good principle to follow.

My reviews usually are fairly thorough. I try to always give a high mark, although I don't give a lot of perfect fives. I do usually give at least a four and on rare occasions I may drop as low as a three. The writer has to make quite a few grammar errors or spelling mistakes to warrant a three from me. I don't think I have ever give less than a three. If so it was probably a mistake. I use a template for my reviews now and I use reviews to gather points, with which I hope to sustain my premium account.
