Balancing Work and Life
Prompt: How do you balance work and life?

Sometimes, it isn't easy. I work midnights. I work 4 nights a week and sometimes 3 and I try to take days off when I can. I clean my house and try to do things I want to do like scrapbook, color in my adult coloring books, shopping, watch my DVD's, be there for my mother, friends, doctor appointments. I don't work more then 2 nights in a row. My sleep schedule will be messed up. I am getting older and this ole gray mare ain't what she used to be. I have my limits. My husband and I help each other with things so that helps. I just knew what I can at my own pace. My job isn't my life. I do have a life outside my job. It may not be exciting but the cops aren't looking for me, either. I do what I can to keep up with things and my job. I am going to retire one of these days.
