Simplicity. How important is that to you when you write?

Simplicity is very important to writing. Clarity is created in a written work by using simple descriptive words. Long words, that are not often used, cause the reader to stumble over the meaning.

Paragraphs that are very long cause the reader to wonder if there is a stopping place. You need to put across the information while the reader is interested.

In an article or a story, the reader must be led along to convey your ideas. Every new subject must be presented quickly enough to hold interest and create enthusiasm for the material. You hold interest with a mixture of long and short sentences.

Communication is the aim of all writing. Simplicity in written works bestows ideas.

WRITE ON!
