Family Business
Ended up reading the following after big cuz Shereece decided to use what I wrote when the fam asked her to represent the grandchildren. They never told us they only planned for one (then two, me and her) to go up there. I made sure all the grand-kids present plus Josh Stovall was up there. I wanted them up there, they wanted to be up there and I needed them at my back. It was tough at times but it was also joyful and overall came out great. Of course I ad-libbed and rereading this now I see quite a few imperfections but that's just my writers mind:

Yes, I am mourning the loss of Emma Nancy (Age 85 blessed years).
Yes, I am in pain right now.
BUT JOY cometh EVERY morning and my cup runneth over!
When I mourned my father I cried for myself and all the moments lost. In this instance, I cry for my family.
I see our family as a Fortune 500 company and we all just lost a Co-CEO/CFO/COO but the Emma Nancy branch of this great family tree/mega corporation also lost our department head.
I need to step-up.
WE need to step-up.
We ALL need to communicate better if we truly desire for our company to be prosperous. Don't you hate it when your money is funny?
This family business deals in Emotional, Mental and Spiritual currency every time we open our mouths.
We LOSE said currency whenever we: 1. communicate ineffectively, 2. refuse to acknowledge our own shortcomings and limitations, 3. whenever someone says "That's not my job.", 4. somebody quits (because you cannot be fired from this establishment, ever).
New positions are opening up. It's my prayer that we all heed the call.
I look forward to my new and/or improved position. Just give me a 90 day probation to learn the ropes tongue emoticon
I love you all and would like to send a mega-thank you to all family members who do their job and still manage to cover the duties of other co-members.
We have to communicate more openly and effectively to prepare for battles such as these. Only a fool attempts to fight a physical war without any preparation or armor. What makes us think Spiritual warfare is any different?
My Granny is at peace and so am I. Don't worry Granny, we got this!
