Comic Books Rule
From time to time a comic book hero or story has come to life on the big screen, with varying degrees of success (remember the failure of Dick Tracey starring Warren Beatty?), or a TV show. But these days, it's the trend. Movie after movie and TV shows galore all feature various comic book legends.

I'm rather fond of Supergirl on TV, myself. I didn't have the same enthusiasm for The Flash. The old Batman show, starring Adam West, was more like the comic book in action, with its strained dialogue and action. Supergirl tries to be more believable. But then, it is a higher budget production.

Kids stores feature comic book clothing, accessories, action figures, costumes (year round), home furnishings, and accessories. The toy store actually has a DC comics aisle and a Marvel comics aisle, not for comic books, but toys!

I know it's just a phase, a trend. We will survive. But some days, I look at the tee-shirts, the ads, and all the merchandise, and movie ads, and I feel like we're obsessing over comics.
