Jewels of Joy
A sparkling waterfall poured into a river. Each droplet that fell was a tiny liquid jewel. The sun shone through the trees and caught each droplet in its light. Joy flowed through the river and it yielded its jewels to anyone who was willing to drink.

If you listened, you could hear the water as it passed by, trickling like a passing smile or rushing over rocks with the precious sound of laughter.

If you were to drink the water, the joy would envelop you, touch every part until it overflowed. It would become that special smile or a peal of golden laughter. Maybe it would spread like golden stars and touch broken hearts, leading them to the river of joy where they too could drink.
