Creation Saturday: I Need a Ladder

I'm in a rut.
I need a ladder
or at least a step stool.

I don't think I have writer's block because I'm writing. I've written several stories in the past few months and a few poems. It's just that I'm depressed because I haven't written as much as I want to. I'm having some issues when it come to blogging. Yesterday, I responded to the prompt from "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise"  and "Blogging Circle of Friends " , but today I look at the prompts without getting even the spark of an idea. I haven't deleted the prompts from my writing.com e-mail box yet because I may use one of them for an entry to one of my offsite blogs.

The last entry I made to one of the offsite blogs was on June 16. The original idea was to make an entry to one of them every-other-day which I've been failing to do for a while. I don't know if its a time problem, just a slight case of writer's block or depression. I don't know why I should be depressed. It could be the change of season, the heat, or something else. Maybe I just need to do a free write.

Free writes help when I'm depressed. It's better for me to do a free write then to take medication for the depression. The depression meds make me foggy while the free write make me smile and sometimes laugh. I usually laugh at my creative spelling because some of the misspellings or rather creatively spelled words.
