Colby Jack has his own Instagram page.

You read correctly. My dog has his own Instagram page. I'm not the one running it, although no one believes me when I say this. My husband is into the dog rescuing thing as much as I am, and he is crazy about our newest boy. The Instagram page comes from him, but it is written from Colby's perspective, as he goes from being a rescued mill dog to a cherished family member.

I started a facebook page for Tamale Schnitzel a while ago, but I don't do a ton with it. If you are interested, it is called Tamales Travels.

Now you know about my social media darlings. It's all in good fun, and the Instagram page is also to educate people about mill dogs.

This Labor Day long weekend has been great for Colby. We have been spending a lot of time at home, so he is making progress every day. Just this evening he wandered out to the farthest point in our one acre fenced yard...but then he couldn't figure out how to get back to me. I walked up there with the intentions of having him follow me back (he follows me everywhere in the house), but he had other ideas. He barked and wagged his tail at me (more new behaviors), making it clear he wanted to be picked up and carried back.


And so the spoiling begins...
