The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for Day 988
When you were a kid, who did you most want to be like when you grew up? Was it particular athlete, a television or movie character, a superhero? Maybe even a family member? And in what way(s) did you emulate them?

Who were my childhood heroes? Who did I want to emulate? My childhood was a long time ago in what seems like a galaxy faraway. The only person that stands out as my hero is my grandfather. I didn't have that many heroes. The only person I wanted to emulate was my mother. At one time I think the only thing I wanted to be was a housewife, which is odd since my mother worked outside the home most of my life. I'm fairly sure I wouldn't liked being a housewife for very long so it's probably just as well I never found a man I could settle down with.
