"Travel" 



The prompt today asked where was the one place I'd never want to visit. To be quite honest I hadn't given it much thought. I think every place has it's advantages and it's disadvantages, so choosing any particular on not to visit would be tough. One place I'd be very uncomfortable in though would be New York, New York. The idea of being surrounded by eight million strangers just gives me the creeps. Most large cities sort of bother me though. I guess it's because I was raised on a farm where our only neighbor lived one quarter of a mile away. Being raised in an isolated rural area gives one a different perspective. Where a city slicker is street smart, a country bumpkin is nature smart. So each has it's inherent values. Still I'd rather be aware of what plants are edible and what ones are poisonous than I would to know how to hail a cab. I can walk much easier than I can starve! So where would I prefer not to go in the world? Any major city would be the one place I'd rather not go.
