Blog City Prompt Forum prompt for January 4, 2-17 "Dreams have no expiration date. Do you agree with this statement? "

I have to say that yes, I do agree with this statement. All of my life I have dreamed of having people all over the world read my writing. Many people, especially those of my own family, told me that I was dreaming and it would never happen. I never gave up my dream though because I knew it was more than a dream. The prophet Jeremiah once said that he was compelled to preach. He said the sermons were like a fire in his bones. Writing has always been that for me. Not writing is simply not an option for me. I have to write. So when people tried to tell me that I would never be a published writer it was unthinkable to me. Then in 2003 I proved everybody wrong by publishing my first book. Three more followed in the next seven years. Then I found WDC and my life changed forever. I am winning contests a lot on here. I was just notified today of an honorable mention and a second place win. So I am doing what I always wanted because I followed my dream.
