What's your take on this quote as a writer? After all, the reason we write is to share stories and provide answers.

Our Answers Are in Our Stories

Every human being has one,
a story to tell,
a myth to create,
or a legend to make.

These are the answers to our questions,
these are the metaphors of our souls,
these are the similes of our existence,
these are what makes us heroes
in the struggle for survival.

If we don't tell our own story,
answer our own questions
then who will.

Someone else may tell us
answers and stories
from their quest,
but their answers
can't answer our questions
because they have a slightly
different point of view.

We must search for truth ourselves,
we must find our own answers
and writ our own stories
otherwise we aren't true to ourselves
or to God.
