The "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS 50/50 prompt for Fun Fact Friday
Dying is illegal in the Houses of Parliaments – This has been voted as the most ridiculous law by the British citizens. What's your take? What weird laws exist on the books where you live? If you could write a weird law, what would it be? Your fee today is 2000gps.

Weird Laws in the State of Nevada

According to the website Big Government. Small Brains. Dumb Laws.1 Nevada has several dumb laws. It's against the law to drive camels on the highway, however, it is legal to hang someone who shoots your dog in your own yard. Then there is the law about bringing firearms into the Clark County. It's illegal to bring unregistered guns into the county. The catch is that they have to be registered at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The problem here is that in order to register a gun you have to do it in person Monday through Friday only and the gun has to be with you.2

The website, Only in Your State in the article "These 10 Crazy Laws in Nevada Will Leave You Shaking Your Head".3 In addition to the law about the camels and legal hanging there are city specific laws. In Reno you can't hide spray-painted shopping carts in you basement. It's also illegal in that city to put benches in the middle of the street or to lay down on the sidewalk. In Las Vegas individual are forbidden to pawn their dentures, which means if I want to pawn my teeth I have to I have to drive all the way to Reno or California.

The website Stupid Laws states "Sex without a condom is considered illegal".4 This law refers to brothels and prostitution, which are legal in some Nevada counties. A man can visit the brothel and hire a prostitute as long as he's uses a condom. I'm not even going to speculate how this law would be enforced, but I suspect it's left up to the proprietors, bouncers or the women to make sure this law is obeyed.

What weird law would I write? I don't think there's enough laughter in the world. Therefore, I would write a law that states everyone should laugh for fifteen minutes everyday. People get coffee breaks and cigarette breaks, but I never hear about people taking a laughter break. I think a laughter break would help people get along better with each other while lowering their blood pressure.
