Motivational Monday: Reviewing my Sunday - attempting poetry
Monday, April 3, 2017

"Forget yourself. God’s help will surely come! When you call on the Mercy of God waiting to reinforce you, your strength will be tenfold."
‘Abdu’l-Bahá1

The "Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for DAY 1600
Write something using these words: watch, seduce, small, computer, defraud, steep, phone, amuse

I decided a needed some motivation this morning, so I checked my Cox inbox and found the above scripture. I also found that I have to do a little better job of keeping that inbox clear because I have too much stuff in it for my liking. That's my own fault because I didn't focus on cleaning that box out in March. This means I have to spend some extra time this month cleaning it out.

Five poem's written
on Sunday emptied my muse
who is not amused.

Sunday I was obsessed with writing poetry. I started out writing the daily poem for "Dew Drop Inn. I followed that by writing three poems for "Prince Musical Writing Challenge Contest which I placed in "Snow Scribbles. The fifth was "Acts of Green which I wrote for "The Earth Day Challenge. I reread that poem this morning and then submitted it. Anyway as a result of all the poetry writing yesterday, I had a bit of trouble writing today's entry for "Dew Drop Inn I managed to get one written which is also posted in "Documenting the Chaos of Human Existence. After finishing that poem I decided I could use some more inspiration if I was going to write any more poetry today.

Defraud a scam;
I reported two spam
to my Cox inbox provider.

I just looked out my front door. The sky is covered by dark charcoal clouds. It looks as if it's going to storm in Las Vegas. Whether we get rain in my section of the city is anybody's guess. If it does rain, I hope it waits until later this afternoon when De gets back. We're having car problems right now and we have to walk everywhere. Which means I have to call the Paratransit to see how early I can get a bus on April 17 because I have an appointment at 8:15 AM. I hate rescheduling that appointment again, but if I have to I have to. I'll place the situation in God's hands.

Motivation watch
clouds gather thunder rumbles
maybe it will rain.

It's getting darker outside. I hear thunder rumbling. Maybe it will rain. If it gets too much darker I'll have to get up and turn the light on. I suppose I should be finishing up this entry so that I can get on with something else. I still have 16 poems to write for "Prince Musical Writing Challenge Contest which I don't think I'm going to work on today. I still have some reviews to do so I should do those before I start writing anything else.

Can a computer seduce a phone?
I haven't left my computer and phone alone long enough to find out.
I don't think this is a question inquiring minds even think about.

The small amount of coffee
in the coffeemaker
is enough to satisfy me.

I need to take a short walk
fortunately the grade on Sunrise Ave. isn't steep.
