Procrastination and Writing

“Time is an equal opportunity employer. Each human being has exactly the same number of hours and minutes every day. Rich people can't buy more hours. Scientists can't invent new minutes. And you can't save time to spend it on another day. Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how much time you've wasted in the past, you still have an entire tomorrow.”
Denis Waitley

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for DAY 1185
Have you ever put off anything important because you were writing? How serious is your WDC addiction?

Have I ever put off anything important because I was writing? Yes, at least I think that's what I doing this month. I'm putting off doing surveys everyday, the way I used to. The problem is that I'm not sure whether I'm putting if off because I don't enjoy it or because I would rather write then do surveys. I know that I feel less stressed when I'm writing. I know that surveys stress me when I don't qualify for one, but the one's I qualify for don't stress me. I also know that when I do surveys, whether I qualify or not, I'm putting off writing something important or at least satisfying. I don't get the same feeling when I do surveys.

Maybe the problem is that I'm just tired of doing the surveys, but don't want to admit it. Perhaps the best way to handle the problem is to get out of some of the survey groups because I could be a member of too many. Especially since I'd rather write then do surveys.
