Inhaling the splendor
of dawn over the Rockies
after a March thunderstorm.

Exhaling the glory
of starlight piercing
the cold hydrogen of interstellar space.

Caressing the beauty
of the Pacific Ocean
on a clear and windy day.

Witnessing the grandeur
of the Grand Canyon
from a jet plane.

Tasting a ray of white light
as it penetrates a prism
to become a rainbow.

Listening to the mercy
of rain
on a summer day.
