Night of Joy
Night of Joy:
To The Blessed Beauty

"Say: This is the night wherein the veils of glory were parted before the eyes of the people of certitude, and the Bird of Heaven warbled its melody in the midmost heart of the celestial realm. Rejoice, then, O embodiments of sanctity in the Everlasting City!"
Bahá’u’lláh, Lawḥ-i-Mawlúd (Tablet of the Birth), #441

Raise your voices in praise!
Sing “Yá Bahá’u’l-Abhá!”
For on this night the Glory of God was born.

Let “O Thou Glory of Glories!”
reverberate across the planet,
and scattered the voices of doubt
or disunity.

Rejoice,
celebrate the two-hundredth anniversary
of the birth of The Blessed Beauty.

Intone anthems of gratitude!
Sing “Alláh-u-Abhá!”
For on this night Baha'u'llah2 was born.

Rejoice,
Let “God the All-Glorious!”
echo from house to house
proclaiming the name and title
of the supreme Manifestation of God.

Raise you voices in praise,
this is the day of unity,
the day God's promises
made in all the Holy Books
has been fulfilled.
