Song of the Blessed Beauty
Song of the Blessed Beauty:
To The Blessed Beauty

“God is sufficient unto me; He verily is the all sufficing.”
"In Him let the trusting trust."

Baha'u'llah, The Sufferings of Baha'u'llah, page 5

Intoned by two rows of Babi prisoner
chained together
the song of the Blessed Beauty1
reverberated day and night
from the Síyáh-Chál2
to the palace of Nasir-al-Din Shah:
“God is sufficient unto me; He verily is the all sufficing.”
"In Him let the trusting trust."

With the release of Baha'u'llah in 1852
the song echoed
across the planet;
intoned by innumerable Baha'is
as the strive
to proclaim the glorious name
of Baha'u'llah.
