The journey begins in Florida

I landed in Florida early. So, I could spend some time looking around Port Orange. My family lived there when I was very young. I was born in a hospital in Daytona Beach. I remember sitting on the steps of a school waiting for my brother to get out of school. I have not been back there since I was 12 when my dad took us there for a visit to relatives for two weeks. Now, Port Orange is nothing like it was at that time in history. There used to be a Walden's Store there where my Grandfather took me to buy an ice cream cone. Was I three??

The boat trip in Miami would be interesting. I would love the music and listening to the DJ. I'm very self conscious about dancing because of my upbringing, nevertheless it would be an interesting experience. I watched it on You Tube. A dance group in college offered to teach me Hip Hop but, I did not take them up on it. Guess I'll have to wing it.

Before I headed for Florida I updated all my shots for South America. I had to renew my passport. I have not used it since the 1990's. Maybe I should take a few lessons in karate cause I'm guessing we can't carry weapons on the transportation between countries. That wouldn't help against bomb's and machine guns. What a world we live in now.

I also took a tour around Miami. I don't remember ever being there before.

I hope the available government helps for the trip will be worthwhile. I get to fly. I like airplane travel.
