Midweek Reflections on the Wind and Yard-Work
Wednesday, October 4, 2017

Chilly October
Sweater weather and wind chill
Winter is coming

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for Day 1298
What strange things have people and the wind left in your yard?

Wind and Yard-Work

The wind pushes litter
up and down asphalt paved streets
and into yards
making yard care more difficult
or more expensive.

Aluminum cans,
can be recycled,
can be sold for money
to cut down on the yard upkeep cost.

Paper and glass go in
the recyclable bins,
to be picked up
every-other-Saturday
of the month.

The glass bottles
are not wind debris,
anymore the dog poop
in the front yard
or the human excrement1
in the back.
