My Safe Place:
To The Blessed Beauty

Blessed Beauty,
You are my safe place,
You are my sheltered harbor
in the storms of life.

I pick up my phone,
I open the prayer app,
I intone a prayer for protection,
a prayer for teaching,
a prayer of gratitude,
and I feel the Holy Spirit
flowing through God's revealed word.

You are my safe place,
You are the one I talk to
in times of stress,
You are the one I hold onto
when the winds of hate and fear
attempt to push me off course.
