Ten years from today,
What will the entry in this blog say.

Tuesday, November 9, 2027

Today, I am 80 years, 11 months, and 9 days old. I have a lot to be thankful for, but the biggest thing is that I am still alive. I would say, I am still alive and kicking, but I don't like to kick people because it can be dangerous. If I kicked someone I might fall and break a hip, and at 80 years old I can't afford to break a hip. I want to live to be 100, so I can receive birthday post cards or e-mails from politicians who want me to vote for them in the next election. I have decided that I will only vote for politicians who are willing to send me a snail mail card. After all, it doesn't take much creativity to send an e-mail.

I'm living in a Senior Care Facility (what we used to call an "Old Folks Home"), with a lot of young people. The gentleman next door, who ask me to the Thanksgiving dance, will turn 69 on the first of January 2028. I know I'm a bit older then him, but when he asked me to the dance he assured me he liked to date older women. Michael Joseph, everyone call him Joe, is escorting Joanna (the 59 year old lady across the hall) and me, on a shipping trip next Monday. We're going to the Mall of Earth, they build in downtown Las Vegas. It's supposed to have all sorts of food from across the planet, plus numerous shops and grocery stores selling indigenous arts and food items.
