I have tried to summarize my observation with vivid and simple manner.

Lonliness
How was I to know?
I would be in the city
Where you and I had been
For three glorious years
Only this time
Alone
Had I known
I would have stuck
Every moment of togetherness
With a caveat of
Looming loneliness
How was I to know?
There would come
A time when I’d stand
Drenched in our memories
Yet parched of our love?
Had I known
I wouldn’t have drizzled
Our memories everywhere
With such insouciance
How was I to know?
The life we built here
The four houses we changed
The fur babies we adopted
The alleys we walked
The sights we beheld
Would all come back to taunt me
Of your absence
Had I known
I would have carved out
Some room for aloneness
In a life that affords none
Because how was I to know?
