The "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS prompt
In lieu of the traditional Motivational Monday prompt, welcome to your first curveball of 2018 *Smirk*. Tell us about a New Years' Resolution you're glad you didn't stick to.

I didn't write down any resolutions in either January or March, I simple made a list in my mind of what I wanted to accomplish. I accomplished only two things on that mental list. As for the things I didn't accomplish, they obviously weren't that important because, I can't remember what they were. Since I can't remember them it's probably a good thing I didn't accomplish any of them. I'm sure I'd remember if I accomplished a resolution.

The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise prompt for Day 1476
I’ll never forget 2017 because….
And I’m looking forward to 2018 because…

2017 a Memorable Year

I’ll never forget 2017 because
it was the year I wrote 200 poems
dedicated to the Blessed Beauty, Baha'u'llah,
and attended the bicentenary celebration of His birth.

I’ll never forget 2017 because
it was the year UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres
declared a red alert for the planet Earth and called for unity.

Contemplating 2018

I'm looking forward to 2018 because
I'm trying something new in writing this year
I've picked out a writing theme for 2018: Unity.
