Happy Thankful Thursday.

The prompt for Day 1479
"How beautiful thy frosty morn when brilliants gem each feathery thorn!" Write anything you want about this.

Thorns on Roses

In hale the crisp morning air,
that caress the roses of dawn
and transform their thorns
into priceless gems.


Listen to the nightingale's song
as he serenades the blossoms of morning
red as the scarlet sunrise
just before a storm.

Breath a prayer of thanksgiving,
in harmony with the nightingale,
or write an ode to gratitude
that echoes morning's song.
