about the saving Lord, Who came to Earth.
Silence is His peaceful life among
those who live with Him in the new birth.

Silent fav'rite to my heart it calls.
Always want to stop and sing along.

Silence is the hope of ev'ry harried mind.
Silence is the joy that only some will find.
Silence in the day's a gift that's blest and kind.
Silence is the canvas that The Lord has signed.

Silence is the canvas that The Lord can paint.
