Qiblah:
The Point of Adoration

Neither east nor west
         Neither north nor south
                   Contain the Object of Faith

His glory transcends
         All physical locations
                   All religious laws
                             His splendor overshadows

The Mirror of God
         In every dispensation

He is God's beauty
         The Point of Adoration
                   Turned to in prayers

Revealer of God
         Answerer of prayers
                   Divine light bearer
                             Evolution's overlord
                                       Civilization's founder

Date Written 148 B.E. This is the first poem I wrote about the Qiblah or the Point of Adoration, which is turned to in prayer. The Point of Adoration for Baha'is is the resting place of Baha'u'llah. The Qiblah is the Manifestation of God in each age, and the point turned to in prayer, which is symbolized by a physical location on earth.
