Soul Shells

Hard shelled denizens of love,
cell by cell
we release our hold
on the soft bodies passions of matter.

Ascending
in joyous processions
through the turbulent waves of tests,
we are washed
onto the beach of paradise.

Where each
according to her own ability,
echoes
the ocean's mighty roar.
