The Nightingale's Song

As the sun set on the vernal equinox,
The Nightingale raised his voice in song,
Announcing the New Year's arrival,
Proclaiming, above the clamor of battle,

A new day for humanity:
Earth is one country,
Humanity is one race,
Worshiping God
By many different names.

Even as the battle gaged the world was changing,
New life, new growth, a new reality,
A new race born out of the womb of faith,
A new humanity, nurtured at the breast of love,
Is prepared to sing the Nightingale's song:

A new day for humanity:
Earth is one country,
Humanity is one race,
Worshiping God
By many different names.

Come join the Nightingale in his song.
Sing out the melody of s pring,
Raise your voices above the battle's roar,
Intone the verses of God's new day,
And chant the scriptures of unity:

A new day for humanity:
Earth is one country,
Humanity is one race,
Worshiping God
By many different names.
