Contemplating the Return of Christ

When Jesus comes,
the Shadows depart.
Inscription On Scottish Castle Wall

When Jesus comes,
concealed in the clouds of glory,
accompanied by battalions of angels,
hidden in the veils of light.
The Universe explodes
generating a new creation
and giving bright to a new race of men.

the Shadows depart.
The sun of divine truth
dawns on the horizon of faith.
The Kingom of God on Earth
descends with the New Jerusalem
and out of the ashes of nationalism
God's new world order rises.
