On the Sea
On the Sea

Floating on the sea of Darkness,
I drift with the tide,
the splinters of my broken mast,
upon the deck were lying.
The tatters of my torn sails,
were flying in the wind,
no anchor,
save a broken chain
to keep my soul from harm.
In deep depression,
quite distrought,
and drifting near the reef
I cried in fear:
"Oh, God!"

Floating on the Sea of LIght,
I sail with the wind.
New mast,
new sails,
new anchor,
new chain.
Secure within the Ark of God,
I neither fear the setting sun,
nor the approaching gale.
