Blog City image small "Prompt: How important is it to look below the surface of things, since LaoTzu said in the Art of War, “He who sees the obvious wins his battles with difficulty. He who looks below the surface of things, wins with ease”? "

I think it is extremely important to look below the surface. Most generally when somebody is upset with somebody else it is because of what's going on below the surface. The person may be responding to someone cutting them off in traffic but their response seems out of place. The truth may be that they are reacting to the very latest in a series of insults that began hours earlier with a chewing out from their boss. Without knowing what is below the surface we will never know that. Don't react to what you see.

What is your take on this quote?

I'm not afraid of death either because I know the One who overcame death and know that He will do so again for me. I will live again thanks to Jesus Christ.
