Emptiness

Experience
         the emptiness of a poem;
         the emptiness that echoes
                   across the dark aeons of interstellar space.

Experience
         the silence between the words;
         the silence that reverberates
                   through the dim epoch of intergalactic space.

Experience
         the distance between the character;
         the distance that vibrates
                   across the ebony seasons of cold hydrogen.
