The Seeker's Obligation

Ask!
It will be given to you.
Seek!
You will find.
Knock!
The door will be opened for you.
Because this is the law divine!

Ask,
         Unafraid of the answer,
Believing that you will receive.

Seek,
         With an open mind--
                   Your preconceived notions forgotten--
Ready to accept or reject.

Knock,
         Upon every door,
                   Expecting someone to answer,
And ready to enter in.
