Finally Finished My First Two Episode Treatments
Finally Finished My First Two Episode Treatments

That’s right, I finished my one sentence sentences for the first two episodes Treatments for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. In fact, I got it done with a couple of hours of my shift left. That’s plenty of time for me to start my paragraph Outlines for these Treatments. But I didn’t do that. I could have done it. And I probably should have. But I decided not to do it.

Why didn’t I start writing my episodic Outline paragraphs? The usual answer to that is work. But I can’t use that yesterday. At least not when it comes to working itself yesterday. That’s because there wasn’t much work that needed to be done. It was very slow. Even slower than it usually is for a Saturday. Work is the answer. It’s not from yesterday.

I’m still a little bit upset about what happened to me on Friday. And how my shift supervisor treated me. I still haven’t gotten over that yet. In fact, I was so mad, angry, and furious about it that I didn’t get too much sleep last night because I couldn’t stop thinking about it. And the more I thought about it the madder, angrier, and more furious I got.

Like Friday, I didn’t let my attitude affect my writing. Except for me not starting my Outline paragraphs. My goal for yesterday was to finish my episode two Treatment. That’s what I did. True, I could have done more. But I decided not to do that. Mostly it was because of what happened to me on Friday. But that wasn’t the only reason why, though.

I also didn’t start it because I probably would have gotten more than the Teaser Act done and maybe part of Act One. I might have even gotten Act Two done too. True, it doesn’t matter how much I get done each day. But when I’m first starting something like this, I like to start it at the same time. That’s why I decided not to continue. Does that make any sense to you?

What am I going to be doing today at work? Duh, what do you think I’m going to be doing? I’m going to start working on my paragraph Outline for episode one, aka “Younger-Than-Adults.” I don’t know how much of it I’m going to get done. But I’m hoping I can get at least half of it done. A lot of that depends on work. If it’s a typical Sunday, I may be able to do more.
