It was common knowledge, but most people didn't know it. |
I remember the Hare Krishna monks singing and dancing in Havard Square in the snow, during the Christmas shopping. It was the 70's and I associated Hare Krishna with the Vietnam protesters. My brother was an Air Borne Ranger and some of our neighbors wouldn't speak to my family, because they thought he was a war criminal. I believed my brother when he wrote to me that he was fighting global communism. So, I threw a snowball at the Hare Krishna monks in Havard Square. They chased after me, but I was too fast. It was the 70's and my brother was in Vietnam and was in grammar school. Tulsi Gabbard won't get the nomination. Firstly. because she's not part of Democratic donor corporation. Secondly, because she's a Hare Chrishna that won't sell outside the East and West coast. My dad told me they were all a bunch of dirty hippies. I was raised in a conservative Irish Catholic home... But, there have been a lot of scandals in the Catholic Church.. . I'm not a big fan of the Vatican coverup of pedophile clergy. I'm a registered Democrat. I do not want open borders. There is a legal process to become a United States citizen. I don't believe a wall is an effective deterrent to illegal border crossing. Just check the green cards ...on the plantation. I'm a big fan of affordable healthcare for U.S. citizens. I like owning a vehicle and I support the right to own a gun. And I like public transportation; the bus, the subway or trolly. I asked a Buddhist monk if he believed in God. He said, "We live in the mind of God." My dad said the same thing, but he thought Buddhist were pagan. Tusli Gabbard should be asked if she believes in a just war. I don't think she can be a good Hare Chrishna and advocate war. I think a lot of religion is myth and tribalism. Maybe God was an ET messing with our DNA. Reflections~The Serpent in the Garden of Eden walked upright and spoke. <-><-> =++= |
