"Prompt: Do you use an old fashion alarm clock--any type of alarm clock that existed before smartphones--or do you use a smartphone as your alarm clock? What are the advantage and/or disadvantages to the alarm clock you use?"

I use my beat up old smart phone for an alarm clock, mainly because I can keep multiple alarms on it. During the holidays I was working seventeen hours per day and sleep was a commodity. I still had certain places I had to be at certain times so I would set multiple alarms to wake me up so that I could be there. Then I would take "power naps" during the interim. Now I have an alarm set for the time I have to wake up to work, another set for my medicine, and another set to wake me after a short nap. I have narcolepsy so I take Adderal to keep me awake. I know I am not going to sleep after I take it, even if I need some more sleep. So I sleep for 45 minutes after I first take it and by then it is time for it to stimulate me. The alarm still goes off but it's sort of redundant. I also use the alarms as reminders at times. If I have to do something I don't normally do and it is several hours before time to do it I set an extra alarm. Then the alarm serves as a note to remind me of my chore. Like right now, I am going to visit a man in the hospital in my capacity as chaplain. The alarm is set to remind me of my appointment.

I won't speak for anybody else. I'll just say I have never been wrong. I thought I was once but it turned out I was mistaken!

Of course I screw up! If I didn't I wouldn't be human. I'd be Jesus Christ, who was both completely human and completely God. He was perfect and we killed Him for it.
